US-Bangla Airlines plane crashes at Kathmandu airport, 49 killed
The US-Bangla Airlines flight from Dhaka to Kathmandu had 68 passengers and four crew members on board.
At least 49 passengers were killed after US-Bangla Airlines aircraft reportedly crashed at Kathmandu International Airport on Monday. The flight had 72 passengers on board. The flight skidded off the runway while landing, according to a Nepali daily report.
According to several sources, the plane was identified as a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 (S2-AGU; 17 years old)
